Senior Sessions

October 3rd, 2008

This lovely young lady was a natural in front of the camera. She said she was nervous but I couldn’t tell.  I love this pic because of course it is a little funky!! yay!

See what I mean…does she look nervous to you?? I don’t think so! These are fun little shots we did at Sacred Heart in Grand Coteau.

After we finished at the school we went to her home…this was a place that all photogs would LOVE!!! lots of land…a nice old barn…a red, yes I said red, guest house…and I mean good red!! (big grin)

I think this is my fav shot! It just seems so natural and I was loving this old barn thing. There were sooo many animals…it was fun….they even had a little kitten that they are bottle feeding! how sweet!

If you look real real close you can see her little horse mini’s in the background. awwww!!

I love this one…even though we were fighting off mosquitos for dear life!! she seemed to lie still in the grass long enough for me to capture this wonderful pic!! I love the grass in her eye! I really do like it! seriously!

more later…not today…just later!

smiles…

Melissa ;)

Senior Sessions

What a lovely girl….her hair is super long and her eyes are absolutely stunning!!! I used to look exactly like her!! just kiddin…I only wish!!

We had such a good time…at least I know I did!! ….we traveled to UL and played around in the dugouts!! It was totally her idea!! and I loved it!!

The lighting was great…mysterious and dark! PERFECT!

We had to be quiet because the guys were doing “try outs” on the baseball field.  Jessica came with us and totally got us in….she’s got the “hook up”! ;) yay, jess!!

The other shots were done at Sacred Heart in Grand Coteau! I just love that old barn. But the mosquitos were ALMOST unbearable!! She was such a trooper though!!

I like this pic alot!! I guess I like the grass in the foreground….is that a word?? foreground. hmm.

When we were done at Sacred Heart, I had this great idea to stop by the studio and grab my wonderful red chair and put it in a grassy field right behind the studio….well….the mosquitos were sooooo bad I could not even shoot! It was horrible…but she sat in the red chair and tried her very best to pose even though she was getting bit so bad by mosquitos!! It was a bad idea! although it would have been great minus the bugs!! Oh well…no red chair this time! dang it!
